Muscle Focus: Lats and obliques
Position: Stand wider than hip width (2+ feet relative to height) facing the door with the forward foot. Back foot points perpendicular and the knee is bent holding most of the weight. Only one spring is needed. Second spring can be detached.
Spring Attachment: High
Direction:
• Start with the right foot back. Right hand pulls the handle and spring back at a 45-degree angle, leading with the elbow The forearm needs to reach toward the floor
• KEEP WRIST FROM BENDING, PREVENT ELBOW FROM WRAPPING BEHIND BACK, AND KEEP SHOULDER DOWN
• The exhale breath and core engagement correlates with the pull back of the right arm AS THE LEFT ARM PUNCHES FORWARD
• The lower body needs to stay strong, stable, and still, as the upper body does the rotating
